St. John Eye Hospital had the distinct pleasure of receiving, Mr. Sultan Al-Aseeri, Deputy Director General for Project Development at Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) and Ms Dana Al-Masnad, Director of Programmes for Asia & Africa. This momentous occasion coincided with the launching the QFFD’s supported project aimed at providing emergency eye health services in Palestine.
The Qatari delegation was warmly received by the Hospital’s CEO, Dr. Ahmed Maali, and the Mr. Daoud Dahdal, Director of Development and Grants. During their visit, Mr. Al-Aseeri was given an in-depth presentation on the progress of this vital initiative in addition to the hospital’s visionary strategies in combatting avoidable blindness amidst the challenging humanitarian context in Palestine.
