“This prestigious accreditation is a validation of our commitment to the provision of quality care that values patient safety and the continuous improvement of medical performance and ophthalmic care” stated Dr. Ahmed Ma’ali, The Chief Executive Officer of St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group. He emphasized the importance of this achievement in supporting St. John Eye Hospital’s mission, vision, and plans to achieve its strategic goals to firmly place the hospital in line with the best eye hospitals worldwide.

The St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital is committed to keeping pace with the dynamics of global health care by providing the best ophthalmic services, creating a culture of safety in addition to empowering the national health care systems. Many of our patients treated at the Jerusalem Hospital come from the Gaza Strip and West Bank due to the limited access to tertiary eye services.  This confirms our leading role in the provision of specialized eye care to All regardless of race, religion, social class, or ability to pay.
