Guild of St John Eye Hospital Centenary Reception

The Guild of St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital are delighted to invite you to a very special reception at the Chapter Hall, St John’s Gate, to celebrate 100 years of their service to the Eye Hospital.

The Guild (previously known as the Ladies’ Linen Guild) was formed following a pilgrimage in March 1926 to Jerusalem, and they have been the primary UK-based volunteer fundraising group for the Eye Hospital for a century.

They are planning a full calendar of events to mark their centenary this year, and we hope you will be able to join us on Monday 2 March at 6.30pm to kick off the celebrations!
