Thank you to all who supported our Emergency Appeal

We are incredibly grateful for the amount of support our Emergency Appeal has received in response to the US Administration funding cuts in October 2018 - we are very pleased to share the news that we have exceeded our target of £500,000 and reached a grand total of £551,425 and closed the appeal.

This support has given hope during this difficult time of uncertainty, and thousands of patients will be treated as a result of this support who otherwise would have been left in the dark.

These donations have helped considerably in filling the gap left in funding for 2018.  Of course, we now have the challenging task of developing a sustainable funding model for 2019 and beyond.  Nevertheless, this show of solidarity has been very uplifting and hugely appreciated.  It has allowed us to continue to deliver our vital services, whilst working towards a more sustainable financial future.

From all at St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital – thank you to everyone who responded to our appeal by sending cheques, donating online, giving generous major gifts, and to the valuable support of the St John Priories and their supporters from across the world.

With sincere thanks to all.

Yours faithfully,

Sir Andrew Cash OBE.
