After years of negotiations and extremely hard work we finally opened our doors to our first patients this week!
It is with great pleasure that we can announce our new Gaza Hospital to be OPEN FOR BUSINESS.
The Governor of Gaza, Abed Al-Efranji; a representative of Saab
Erekat, Amal Ahmad; our Chairman, Nicholas Woolf; Gaza Hospital Manager, Walid Shaqura; and local Gazan boy Mohamed were our official ribbon cutters for the Opening Ceremony.
Our CEO, Tom Ogilvie-Graham; trustee and former Mayor of Gaza, Maged Abu Ramadan; Mukhtar Abu Salman Almghany; other members of our Senior Management Team, and former chief surgeon and Guild Member, Denise Magauran were also all present to mark this momentous moment in St John history.
