Talk by Richard Makepeace, former SJEHG Trustee & Consul General of Jerusalem: “Palestine: Can Hope Triumph Over Experience?”

Please join the Guild of St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group at this evening talk, kindly given by Richard Makepeace, former Consul General in Jerusalem and Ambassador in Khartoum and Abu Dhabi.

During his term in Jerusalem, Richard was a Trustee of the St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital. More recently, he was Registrar of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, an independent multi-disciplinary research institute, a fellow of St Cross College Oxford and is currently Interim Chair at MAP (Medical Aid for Palestinians).
