Malta pledge

At the end of December, our Hospitaller Anthony Chignell and the Deputy Lord Prior, Captain Norman Lloyd Edwards, visited Malta with the Hospital Icon.

Following on from this, Baron of Gigha Fund - which is administered by Raymond Bugeja - has pledged a quarterly donation of £6,250 until further notice. This will mean £25,000 each year of unrestricted money for the Eye Hospital. Mr Bugeja has established a Memorial Fund in recognition of his brother's contribution to the St John Rescue Corps and is an important donor and supporter.
