Nicholas Woolf became a board member and Chairman in June 2012. A Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser he was for many years a partner with Arthur Andersen. He is currently Chairman of Princess Alice Hospice based in Esher, Surrey, Chairman of Beating Bowel Cancer, Deputy Chairman of Barts & The London Charity and was until recently a non-executive director of Westminster Primary Care Trust. In 2009/10 he was Master of The Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers and is also a liveryman of The Gardeners’ Company and The Tylers and Bricklayers Company.

Nicholas Goulding was appointed Trustee and Treasurer in July 2012. He is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser and was with KPMG LLP (formerly Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co) for over 30 years. He is Honorary Treasurer of The Chartered Institute of Taxation, The Guild of Air Pilots and Air Navigators, St Lawrence with St Swithun, Winchester, Blue Apple Theatre and a Governor of Lord Wandsworth College. He is currently the Master of the Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers in the City of London.

Victoria M. Sheffield is President & CEO of the International Eye Foundation in the USA. She is a North America Co-Chair of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Global Outreach Committee.

Nick Astbury FRCS FRCOphth FRCP is a part time consultant paediatric ophthalmologist at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and consultant advisor to the International Centre for Eye Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He is chairman of VISION 2020 UK, chairman of the International Committee and the Ocular Public Health committee at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

Sir Vincent Fean KCVO is the British Consul General in Jerusalem, running the diplomatic mission responsible for UK relations with the Palestinians. He is former Ambassador to Libya (2006 - 2010) and was Director of Asia Pacific in the International Group of Trade Partners UK (1999-02), as well as High Commissioner in Valletta (2002-06).

Dietrich von Hülsen is the Commander of the Balley of the Johanniterorden. He is a lawyer and former Director General and CEO of Eurofer, the Brussels based European Confederation of Iron and Steel Industries.

Sheenah Davies spent 27 years serving with the Queen Alexandra Royal Army Nursing Corps where she rose to the rank of Colonel. She has been involved with the Order of St John for 15 years, as Commander and then Chairman of Council of St John Ambulance in County Durham. Colonel Davies became Priory Hospitaller for England and the Islands in 2008.

Guy Morton was joint Senior Partner of Freshfields Bruckhaus Derringer from 2006 to the end of 2010. Mr Morton served on the European Commission's Forum Group on Collateral in 1999 and was a member of the European Commission's Legal Certainty Group. Based in London, he specialises in banking, investment banking, regulation of securities, investments and commodities, and financial markets. His clients include the Bank of England, Lloyd’s of London and a number of major banks and investment banks.

Susan Dingwall is a partner of the international law firm, Norton Rose LLP, specialising in insurance and reinsurance dispute resolution. With over 25 years experience of the industry, Susan has been recognised as one of the leading practitioners in this field, having advised both the insurance market and major global financial institutions on policy wordings, risk management and dispute resolution. Susan also leads the firm's award winning Takaful (Islamic insurance) practice and she acts for a number of Takaful operators in the Middle East.

Nicki Shaw joined Princess Alice Hospice as Chief Executive in April 2011. Before that she worked for more than ten years at the British Heart Foundation, most recently as Programme Director for Prevention and Care. Her career has spanned the commercial, regulatory and voluntary sectors. She maintains a professional interest in voluntary sector development and health issues and recently spent four weeks in Malawi in a volunteer capacity for a rural community health project. She has participated in a number of National forums including the Palliative Care Funding Review and the DH Advisory Group on Health at Work.
