Preview Tuesday 2 November 6pm-9pm (£25)
Wednesday 3 November 10am – 4pm (£5)
To enable us to hold a Preview Evening to celebrate 50 years of the Hospital in its current building in East Jerusalem, we have opted for a change of venue to the Chelsea Town Hall. Tickets to the preview on Tuesday 2 November are £25 and will be sold in advance. (A preview ticket will also entitle you to free entry to the Fair proper the next day, which will otherwise cost £5.)
At the evening event, there will be Champagne, entertainments, and an incentive shopping scheme to keep the stallholders happy, a Christmas Tree Gift of Sight Tombola, and a raffle. The Fair stalls include a wonderful selection of food stalls, stalls for Christmas gifts and stocking fillers. We have always been very strong in catering for our own indulgences with lots of lovely stalls offering jewellery, cashmere, silks, etc. We also offer 3 stalls to 3 other related charities, The Spafford Childrens Hospital, Jerusalem, Palcrafts which sell Palestinian handcrafts and Allah Kariem – The Holy Land Institute of the Deaf in Salt, Jordan
Our Preview Evening coincides with the opening of the refurbished St John Museum in Clerkenwell and we hope to be able to entertain many of those attending that opening as well.
The Guild of the Order of St John organises several fund raising events in London during the year and this year we hope to make the Fair a ‘fun, fantastic and fabulous’ event which everyone will enjoy.
