While in the past we have always had our bridge afternoons in different Embassies in London, this year, Mr and Mrs Freddie Mossanen have offered to host our bridge afternoon in their magnificent house at 25 Kensington Gore, London SW7 2ET. Which is situated on the corner of Queen’s Gate, close to The Albert Hall.
The cost will be £35 per player (£140 per table) or £25 for any non playing guests who want to attend for Afternoon Tea. We would ask players to organize their own bridge four. Players will not move on or change tables, you will remain playing with your same four, but players will change partners at the end of each rubber. Tea will be served from 3.30pm. We do ask you to kindly bring your own playing cards, scorers and pencils. Prizes will be presented at the end of the afternoon for the highest individual score after three rubbers, the first Grand Slam and the first Little Slam bid and made.
There is always a limit to the number of bridge tables that we can fit in, so if you can join us, please fill in the application form and return it as soon as possible to:
Tara Elliot, The Old Rectory, Chilton Foliat, Hungerford, Berkshire RG17 0TF or email your application to: tara [dot] elliot [at] btconnect [dot] com. If emailing your application for tickets, your cheque can follow by post.
Because of the short time until 1st May we would ask that all applications be sent as soon as possible but they must be received no later than Friday 27th April. For security reasons we do need to know the names of those playing on your table. However if you do not know all the names of your players at the time of applying for your table, you can let us know later. We very much hope that we will see you and your friends on Tuesday 1st May.
